The Blue Elephant opened its doors in the Spring of 2011 and is owned and operated by husband/wife team, Clay and Meredith Carpenter. Meredith, a former FISD teacher with over 20 years of experience in child development, has a true passion for education and early childhood development. Meredith is an on-site owner and loves to read to the School Readiness rooms, play with the young toddlers, and cuddle the preschool’s sweet infants. Clay works full-time with Frisco’s Fire Department as an Assistant Chief and uses his business-minded skills to keep the center’s operations running smoothly. Together, they have two children, Gracie and Tyler. Both children attended The Blue Elephant and are now young adults. Clay and Meredith reside in Frisco and love the community.

My name is Ms. Kelsey, and I am the Director of The Blue Elephant Learning Center. I grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner! Texas is now our home state and we love it! My husband and I have two beautiful daughters, Paisley and Hadley, and a sweet son named Brody. They are the heart and soul of our family! I have extensive experience with early childcare, and I have called TBE home since 2012. I love our sweet students and their wonderful parents; we truly have an amazing TBE family! My goal is to make every day the best day for our students.
