Summer is almost here, and we know that means kids all over Frisco and greater North Texas are getting excited for freedom from school and those endless summer afternoons. At The Blue Elephant, we also get excited for summer, but not just because of the end of the school year. The start of summer means the start of our summer school program, SUNsational Summer Camp – and let us tell you, there are few things as fun as summer camp at The Blue Elephant!
Every week has its own distinct, pre-planned theme to keep things varied and interesting throughout the summer: one week may be focused on camping and the outdoors, the next on art and self-expression, while the next may be on sports and athletics. Based on the week’s theme, we build an itinerary of daily activities designed to fuse learning and play, ensuring that whether your little one is working their muscles on an indoor rock climbing course or enjoying s’mores by the campfire, the fun never stops!
In addition to our daily activities, our summer camp program also includes a roster of kid-approved field trips throughout the camp. Summer camp field trips are famous here at TBE, including everything from minigolf and bowling custom pottery painting. We even plan on-site events on top of our field trips, which means the action truly never stops. And as with everything else at The Blue Elephant, we build our summer camp program based on the same principles of developmental education that we base our curriculum on, ensuring that your child is learning and building important skills even in the midst of all that fun.
