At The Blue Elephant Learning Center, we are passionate about providing top-notch early childhood education and care to our young learners in Frisco, TX. How long have you been enlightening young minds at The Blue Elephant Learning Center? 

10 years

What age group do you have the pleasure of teaching? 

18-23 months

What inspired you to join TBE’s team? 

I have always loved working with kids and when I saw that The Blue Elephant was hiring, I immediately applied and fell in love with the school and the family-friendly, welcoming, and loving environment.

Could you share a memorable moment or a particular success story from your classroom? 

We have lots of memorable moments and success stories. Some of my favorites are seeing a child use sign language correctly, counting to 10, and naming the colors of the rainbow. 

Favorite Activity and Event at TBE:

  • My favorite weekly activity with my students is art. We love to paint and create in our classroom! 
  • My favorite classroom event is our holiday parties, especially our Christmas party. We decorate the classroom with the students’ art work and invite parents while we sing songs, enjoy special treats, and read books together. 
  • My favorite school event is our Fall Festival. We invite all of our students and their families to join us for a morning of family fun with bounce houses, a train ride, popcorn, face painting, a petting zoo, and a visit from the Frisco Fire Department. 

Fun Facts/Hobbies and Interests:

  • I’m originally from Chicago, but I’ve called Texas home for 10 years now. I love to spend time with my son, James, who is in Kindergarten. We love to go bowling, spend time at the park, and visit the library.
